Ria is an actress, model, and dancer. She burst upon the scene as the winner of the Times of India Fresh Face nationwide talent hunt.
She catapulted that success into a leading role in the "coming of age" Marathi language feature film, Three Legged Horse, due to be released in 2019.
She also has been a part of several theater shows. In addition to her acting career Ria has featured as a TEDX speaker at two separate TEDX Youth Confer¬ences.
She has walked the catwalk at fashion shows in Bangalore, Mumbai and Rajas¬than and has featured in modeling campaigns for several major Indian brands. She is also a classically trained Bharatanatyam dancer.

I met Ria following a happenstance meeting with her Mother on an airplane en route to Mumbai. As the only child of high-achieving, self-made parents, Ria displays poise. maturity, confidence and a strong work ethic indicative of such upbringing. While she is charming and joyful in person, her acting talents stretch her into other personas, which she performs effortlessly - as is the case with her dark portrayal of the story's protagonist in her recent feature film, Three Legged Horse. The future is very bright for this young performer, there seem to be no limits to what she can achieve.
