• September was another eventful month on multiple fronts for Lotus Entertainment Group.
  • For our first “Hollywood in India” feature film, TIGER HEART, we have cast our lead actor, SCOTT EASTWOOD. A talented leading man in his own right, Scott is also the son of iconic Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood. For our movie, Scott will play the role of Dr. Daniel Tate, a renowned Tiger conservationist and “Tiger Whisperer”. We are delighted to have such a strong actor attached. With over 3 million followers on Instagram, we look forward to Scott’s sharing his Tiger Whispering journey in India as we set up our shoot at Jim Corbett National Park & Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand in the Himalayan foothills in Spring 2020.

  • We also have a script ready for our short film, #MeToo Meets Aarey. As the title suggests, this film has aspects of the #MeToo movement that bluntly but poignantly show the trauma of unwelcome advances toward women and is set in Aarey Colony, a green jungle in the middle of Mumbai and one of the most beautiful areas of the city . . . also known as Mumbai’s most haunted location. The haunted lore of Aarey brings a fierce revenge against perpetrators of sexual aggression and makes for a most entertaining and compelling story. The film will be shot in December in Mumbai and features Lotus client Zarine Manchanda in lead role opposite Lotus client Danny Sura.
