Story Synopsis: Two wounded souls meet by chance at a humanitarian medical clinic in South Africa. Alan, an American doctor, once dashingly handsome, was disfigured at war and cannot bear other people's eyes on him. Maya, an Indian nurse, radiant and beautiful, contracted HIV years before.
